Exactly what is a blog?? According to HowStuffWorks, the word "blog" is a blend of the term "web log."
Basically, a blog is a lot like an online journal or diary! The author can talk about anything and everything. Many blogs are full of interesting links that the author has found. Blogs often contain stories or little snippets of information that are interesting to the author.
Even though blogs can be completely free-form, many have a focus. As we enter the "Blogosphere," I hope that we can share BestPractices in education.
This is very interesting! I am not very familiar with blogging or the blogosphere, but it seems that it can be very useful in education.
